like many visitors, i found thailand a wonderful place to be a traveler. the people were friendly and helpful, without being pushy or over-attentive. there are lots of interesting historical and religious sites to visit. it was easy to get from place to place, both within bangkok and in other parts of the country. it was clean, and the street food was affordable and delicious. plus, there is not the incessant honking of traffic in bangladesh - oh blessed quiet!
